THE FUTURE IN HURRICANE AND SECURITY PROTECTION - TODAY!!!
Take a look at what our customers and insurance companies have to say about our product.....
Dear Mr. Hughes:
Citizens Insurance is the windstorm insurance carrier for San Marco Square Condominiums where your hurricane shutter product was installed last year on all of the windows and doors in the building. Recently, the Association hired a licensed/approved mitigation contractor to inspect the property and prepare the Citizens Mitigation Affidavit for the property. The contractor was able to confirm that the Association was eligible for the maximum hurricane shutter mitigation credit.
The Association is looking forward to having a considerable windstorm premium savings when their policy renews in October.
Yours truly, Barbara Nolan Property Manager

Dear John: I would like to take a few minutes to thank you for the fine job you did on our hurricane & security panels. They look really nice. Of course, the work passed county inspection and I was told that the shutters exceeded the county requirements. I also got full credit from my insurance company for the wind mitigation credit discount. So I am able to save on my insurance premium. I only wish I lived in a single family dwelling so I could get The State of Florida to pay for some of the work to retrofit my home. John, I think the thing I like best about them, other then the obvious wind storm, security and hurricane protection, is the cosmetic look. The wind mitigation inspector Dan from "Don Meyler Inspection" didn't realize at first that the shutters were even on the windows. He said they look just like part of the window and asked me if you would fax him some information regarding the specifications on them. Another thing I want to address it the cost of the Hughes Wind Shields. The cost is only about one fourth of the cost of Roll-Safe Shutters and has a much better cosmetic look. Roll-Safe had quoted me a price of $34,000 and said it woud be six months before they could do the work. I will be speaking to the new president of the association, Jack Miglorie (390-2535), about you doing some work for the association and will give him some of your business cards. Jack Miglorie liked the look of our shutters and was only concerned about the safety factor of being able to get out of the home during a fire. I then, of course, told him that the panels come off and can be stored and that you even build the storage rack for the stored shutters. Thank you so much for the good work and we will continue to recommend your company. Sincerely yours,
Dr. Roger Parlin

To whom it may concern, I am very pleased to say how happy I am with my window covers by Hughes Windshileds. They give me great peace of mind for security for my home and for protection against high winds. I was privileged to personally fire an air canon that contained a 6' long 2"X4" at a Hughes windshield that was installed on my home. The force of that 50 mph shot, I am told, was the equivalent of an object hitting the window in an F5 hurricane. The window was unscathed except for a smudge mark where the 2"X4" hit the window. This added element to my window and lanai also cuts down the amount of noise the comes into my house. I would encourage everyone to look at the benefits of having these installed on their home.
